5th Grade Mission Trip

July 5 – 7, 2012

Students who will have completed the 5th grade and meet the specified requirements can participate in this exciting mission opportunity. FBC Vidalia in partnership with Sherwood Baptist Church of Albany will spend three days on St. Simons Island participating in various mission activities.

Some of the activities will be:

  • Partnering with St. Simons Island churches to help meet area ministry needs
  • Prayer Walks on the beach and in the park
  • Showing the movie “Courageous” in Neptune Park

Requirements:

  1. Must have made a public profession of faith in Christ
  2. Memorize the Roman road
    (Romans 3:23; Romans 6:23; Romans 5:8; Romans 8:9-10)
  3. Must write out and share their personal testimony in a public setting
    (Sunday School, AWANA Counsel Time, Children’s Worship, etc.)
  4. Must read “Case for Christ, for Kids” and complete a brief book review
