Children ages 3 & 4 will begin their summer music camp. “Preschool Music Camp” is a six week music camp that will teach classic songs to the children. Boys and girls who participate will have the opportunity to sing these songs during a worship service later in the summer.

Local Mission Project

K – 5th Grade
K thru 5th graders will participate in a local mission project and should meet in Kid’s Bay.

In the series, Balancing Life’s Demands, you will learn how to put “first things first” and find peace in the midst of pressure and adversity. This isn’t about cliches or quick fixes, just practical biblical insights to help you order your personal world.

VBS is for children 3 years old (by September 1, 2011)
through children who recently finished the 5th grade.

We need teenagers and adults to volunteer to help make this VBS the best ever.

Senior Breakfast on the Front Porch

Sunday, May 6 at 8 a.m.

Each senior and his/her parents are invited to attend the breakfast honoring our graduates.

The same morning, graduates will be recognized during the 10:20 am service (May 6, 2012). Please provide us with five photos to be used during the service. Deadline to turn in photos is May 1.

April 11 – May 9

The Children’s Ministry program is sponsoring a project to help provide food and clothing for the needy in our area. All FBC children are encouraged to participate!

Turn in canned goods at the Kid’s Building for “God’s Store House”. Also, bring any clothing items (in good shape) to help out our local Salvation Army. Collection boxes will be in the foyer or the Kid’s Building.

Awana Clubbers who bring canned goods to check-in on Wednesday nights will receive two stickers for each can donated.

This special service will take place on Mother’s Day
during the morning worship service.

This is a time to dedicate your child and your parenting to the Lord. To seek His guidance, direction and blessing and to incorporate the support and encouragement of the church in your parenting journey.

Registration Deadline: April 29, 2012

 What to do:

• Choose a life verse for your child (see attached form for explanation).
• Print the “registration form” or pick one up from the office or preschool check-in desk.
• Return the completed form to the preschool check-in desk or church office before April 29.
• Pick 3 photos of your child. These photos may include family members.
• Email your photos to tracy.todd@fbcvidalia.org.  Or turn in hard copies with your registration form.

We need our church members to help us out. Please donate plastic easter eggs and individually wrapped candy that will fit in the plastic eggs. These items can be dropped off at the church office or in the foyer of Kid’s Bay. Thanks in advance for your generous help!

Join us on May 5th for brunch and hear a fabulous speaker who is on fire for Christ.
Kathy is a cancer survivor and is the founder of the worldwide Mom’s Day of Prayer.

So many times we as believers want to CHANGE everyone around us to look like us – to walk like us – talk like us – be us!!  We are ALL uniquely made by God and it is simply not our job to change anyone.  God’s Holy Spirit is so very capable of doing this!  So God has certainly called me to CHALLENGE women to be exactly who God made them to be.

I have learned through my journey with Jesus Christ that He has a sense of humor.  As you walk through this website you will see that God has definitely worked in my life and I’ve learned that He delights in each of us being who He made us to be – FREE TO BE ME!!

When we give our lives over to Jesus Christ, many times women think they can’t have their same personalities that they had before they became a believer.  Let me explain it this way……there was a time in my life when I rode in a limo with the sun roof open and stood up waving at everyone but I happened to be drunk.  When Jesus turned me into a new creation, he assured me that I can still ride in a limo and stand up to wave at everyone just not drunk.
