Harbor Stations

Sunday School
9:00 – 10:00 am

Sunday School here at FBC Vidaila is open to children of all ages (babies to 5th grade). Each of our “Harbor Stations” is divided by age group and is designed to facilitate learning about God and His Word in a small group, personal setting with caring and concerned teachers and leaders. Each Sunday’s lesson is taught in a discussion format and the topics are then reinforced during the childrens’ worship experience at 10:20.  Sunday School begins at 9:00 AM on Sunday mornings and ends at 10:00AM.

Gospel Project is our new and exciting Sunday Bible Study for kids. Check below each week for a summary of the previous Sunday’s Bible study focus. For more information on Gospel Project click here

Gospel Project Lesson from August 17:

Jesus was BaptizedUnit 24 Picture

Jesus came from Galilee to be baptized by John in the Jordan River. Wait a second. John was calling people to a baptism of repentance. Sinners need repentance, but Jesus never sinned. (See Heb. 4:15; 2 Cor. 5:21.) So why did Jesus come to be baptized? Jesus answered John, “Allow it for now, because this is the way for us to fulfill all righteousness” (Matt. 3:15). Jesus never sinned, but He was baptized like sinners are baptized. Baptism reminds us of Jesus’ death and resurrection. It reminds us that when we trust in Jesus, we turn from sin and start a new life—a life lived for Jesus.
